Volunteering with Front Line Defenders (Dublin)
There are a number of people who work as volunteers with Front Line Defenders and we greatly appreciate their valuable contribution.
Front Line Defenders office, Dublin
We have a small number of volunteers who come in to work in the Front Line Defenders office on a regular basis. Unfortunately we have limited space to take on all the volunteers who would like to come in and work in the office and we need to prioritise people who have some human rights experience and/or relevant language or IT skills.
Examples of jobs we are likely to need help with include: data entry; event logistics; web support in Arabic, English, French, Spanish or Russian; accompaniment of visiting human rights defenders etc.
If you would like to be considered for volunteer work in our office please write to tara@frontlinedefenders.org giving details of your availability (number of days or half days per week during office hours) what motivates you to work with Front Line Defenders and attaching a CV which details any human rights experience, language or other specialist skills.
Volunteer translators
If you are an experienced translator with an understanding of human rights and human rights defenders, and are interested in doing occasional translations for Front Line Defenders on a voluntary basis please send your cv with details of translation training and/or experience, along with your availability and motivation to tara@frontlinedefenders.org
Relevant languages: English, French, Spanish, Arabic, Russian, Farsi, Chinese, Portuguese
Please put the name of the position you are applying for in the subject bar of your email.
